Instructor Lisa Ledger (Spear) has been around horses her entire life, and she enjoys sharing her knowledge of horsemanship with others. Besides having taken full responsibility of managing several equine facilities, Lisa's experience comes from organizing horse shows and Pony Club events, training young horses, showing sale horses, and finally, teaching riding lessons from beginners to A & B Circuit hunter/jumper show riders. Throughout the years, Lisa has had the support of many people in the horse industry: Danalynn Rooks (Hunter/Jumper/Equitation coach and judge), Jack Polo (Manager of Maple Ridge Equi-Sport Center), Gwen (Owner of the Horses Habit store), Len Fielding (Racing), Dr. Moats and Dr. Jeanneret (Veterinarians), just to name a few. Whispering Falls Stables has started successfully and is now in its second year. Lisa takes pride in keeping the facility and property well maintained and in making sure the grounds are safe for both the animals and people. By positive reinforcement and keeping students challenged without forcefulness, Lisa has had a huge success with her riding students. Due to the friendly and open atmosphere, students, clients, and parents quickly have become friends and enjoy the fun learning environment.
